Teaching Thankfulness and Magic to Our Little Witches

November 5, 2025Michelle Noel

November is a month of soft transitions. The veil of Samhain has closed but the energy still lingers and roots deeply into gratitude, reflection, and slowness. This is the season to get cozy, to get intentional, and to acknowledge the magic we already have instead of only seeking what we want. Gratitude itself is a powerful spell. Thankfulness strengthens manifestation. When we shift into appreciation mode we attract more ease, more abundance, and more peace into our world. This month is about noticing the small sacred things that usually go overlooked. The morning sunbeams across your kitchen table. Hot tea in your favorite mug. A gentle breath before you speak. Quiet time in nature where you can hear yourself again.

This is also a beautiful time to share small witchy rituals with your little ones. Kids naturally understand magic because they already see wonder everywhere. You can collect acorns, pinecones, fallen leaves, and make a gratitude altar together. Let them choose one thing a day they are thankful for and place a nature item symbolizing that gratitude onto the altar. You can create intention jars using herbs like cinnamon for warmth, rosemary for remembering good things, lavender for calming their hearts, and they can seal it with a simple thank you whispered inside. Make bath time magical by letting them sprinkle chamomile tea into warm water before bed as a gentle gratitude soak. Simple nature-based activities like this teach them connection, appreciation, and presence. It shows them that magic is not spooky or dark but instead rooted in kindness, gratitude, and the beauty of the natural world.

Here at Sand and Sage we invite you to slow down with us this November and intentionally soak in how far you have come this year. Appreciate the people you love. Nourish your body. Let this season soften you and remind you that magic lives in the tiny moments of everyday life. Gratitude is a spell you can cast daily, and it is one of the most powerful ones you have.

  • My name is Sharon Reynold. I’m 43 years old, and I’ve been married since I was 25. I have two children, and for many years, we lived a happy and peaceful life together. About five months ago, everything changed suddenly. My husband left me without any clear reason, and it completely broke my heart. I tried everything I could to fix our marriage, but nothing seemed to work. I felt lost, exhausted, and didn’t know what to do anymore. A friend of mine, Alison, later told me about Dr. Tunde, whom she described as honest and experienced. At first, I wasn’t sure, but I decided to reach out to him. He listened to me, comforted me, and use is power spell to reunite my marriage, and gave me a sense of hope when I really needed it. Today, I’m truly grateful to say that my husband has come back, and our family is together again and doing well.
